Come and visit this unique and wonderous place, as Anakie Fairy Park turns 50 years
old.
Yes, 2009 marks the 50th anniversary of the Anakie Fairy Park, and What fantastic
memories most of us have of our visit there.
Only a short drive from Geelong or Werribee, Anakie Fairy Park is an experience
that will delight everybody who visits.
Set on 10 hectares around one of 3 rocky pinnacles known as “The Anakies” in the
Brisbane Ranges, the park is a must to visit if you have children, or are young
at heart. Privately owned and 50 years in the making, it has mobile dioramas of
every significant fairy tale ever told and a few you may not have heard of.
There are adventure playgrounds, picnic and electric coin operated BBQ’s in the
picnic areas, with hot water on tap and plenty of shelter. Plenty of parking and
heaps to do, with towers to climb, dungeons to visit and lots more. Kiosk and Restuarant
open weekends and school holidays.
Fairy Park, Anakie, is open every day from 10.00am to 4.00pm. (Except Christmas
Day) Admission Charges apply.

VIBES FESTIVAL, 12TH JULY, 2009 at 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM

Te Aka Matua Inc is a Maori Cultural performing Arts Group who are hosting a Vibes festival. The aim of the
festival is to encourage participation from our Maori, Pacific Island, Aboriginal
Children and Youth Cultural Performing Groups. We also encourage families from diverse
cultural backgrounds to attend.
The festival is free of charge and stalls from differing cultures will be available.

Roman Rudnytsky – InternationaI Concert Pianist
Roman Rudnytsky is an internationally active concert Pianist of Ukrainian background
whose frequent performances take him all over the world. He is in fact one of the
most travelled of all concert pianists, having performed in over 90 countries.
Rudnytsky began the study of piano at age 4 and is a prize winner of 10 piano competitions.
