FAIRY PARK celebrating 50 years.

For 50 years Fairy park has been owned and operated by the Mayer family. The park, opened in 1959, is celebrating 50 years of operation and has been constantly added to, remodelled and renovated over this time and has been enjoyed by families over five decades.

The Mayer family have dedicated a life time of work to Fairy park over the 50 years with three generations of the Mayer family completing the work in house.

The latest additions have been The Teddy bears Picnic, a Model train museum and last season the renovated Castle Cafe re-opened it’s doors after many years.

The newest project is a 50 year Pictorial Display that will open on the 6th of December to co-incide with the 50th birthday celebrations.

Garry Mayer, the manager of Fairy Park, says he looks forward to sharing the special occasion with many of those who have visited over the years and made this milestone possible.

Fairy Park welcomes everyone to come and relive the Park’s magic and to explore all the new attractions, perhaps this time enjoying it again with their children and grandchildren.

There will be many special activities taking place, including best dressed competitions, the 50th anniversary pictorial display, a cake cutting ceremony, market stalls, performers, entertainers, face painting and balloon art.
